The two-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course gives you practical skills in spotting the signs of poor mental health and the confidence and ability to respond. You’ll learn how to deal with crisis situations like psychotic episodes, suicide and panic attacks, and how to carry out a difficult conversation with someone who is struggling with depression, anxiety or other mental illnesses. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to signpost someone to the right support and help them to recover faster.
